Flying changes, half-pass, even a little piaffe and passage
aren't only for professionals or Olympic-caliber riders. With
the right horse you can learn intermediate and advanced Dressage
movements. You can experience collection, self-carriage, engagement
and extensions. A horse who is suitable in physical size, including
size of gaits, temperament and training can be the partner you
have been waiting for.
When considering a new horse for you, we evaluate all relevant
issues - how often you can ride, your availability of instruction,
turn-out possibilities and any other stable management requirements.
We then discuss your options.
Once you choose your horse, we are available to coordinate
all travel and quarantine arrangements:
- We offer a "get to know your horse" period at
our stable.
- We receive the horse from the shipper and monitor any health
conditions that me be caused by travel stress.
- We develop a management program for you and your horse which
includes proper shoeing, dentistry, vaccinations, turn-out,
and training suggestions. We want you to get off on the "right
foot".
Next, we encourage input from your trainer, farrier, veterinarian,
and stable manager in order to best prepare your horse for his
new life. We are available for consultation at any time throughout
the ownership period of your horse.
If you outgrow your horse, or decide as some point that you
want a different one, we can help you find the right home for
the horse you have and help you find a suitable alternative.
For advanced riders and professionals, we are able to find horses
with extraordinary talent. Tell us exactly what you like and
we will put together a collection of horses in the United States
and Europe to choose from.
